Primary Purpose The primary focus of the IAOP Dubai Chapter will be both networking and educational. The chapter is organized to provide opportunities for end-users, vendors, and advisors to collaboratively raise the level of discourse, continuing education, advocacy and professionalism related to outsourcing. We will accomplish this by programming cutting-edge and thought-provoking sessions, fostering open dialogue and exchange, and maintaining a practical results-oriented focus. n

Latest meeting held March 9, 2009 as part of the IAOP Global Tour!
The latest knowledge sharing session of the IAOP Dubai Chapter chaired by Khalil Allahwala of Catalyst Managerial Group/Business Catalyst International took place on March 9, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai.
Khalil welcomed featured speaker Michael F. Corbett, Chairman of IAOP who spoke to the topic of “Outsourcing and the Global Economy: Learnings from the 2009 Outsourcing World Summit.”
In the current economic downturn, organizations are pushing for both increased innovation, greater cost reductions and ways to improve their services. Participants learned how outsourcing can shape the future in these turbulent times.
The session was hosted by LAP Technologies Limited. Registration began at 5:00 p.m. with the Welcome and Introductions starting at 5:30 p.m. An informal networking session immediately followed the program.
