Inaugural Meeting held November 8, 2006

The inaugural meeting of the Mexico Chapter, chaired by Diana Gomez, HP Services Director, Hewlett-Packard Mexico, was held on November 8, 2006 at Club de Industriales, Andres Bello 29, Mexico City.

Chapter Chair Diana Gomez welcomed attending outsourcing professionals, after which, Michael Corbett provided an overview of the outsourcing industry. 

The meeting featured a presentation on the Mexican IT Market given by Ricardo Zermeno, Select General Manager of HP.  Afterwards, Ricardo Zermeno and Rafael Lucio, also of HP, facilitated a panel discussion on first-degree outsourcing.

The meeting concluded with Michael Corbett’s overview of IAOP.  A networking cocktail reception followed the formal meeting.

Primary Purpose
The primary focus of the Mexico Chapter of IAOP will be primarily networking, to bring together business and government executives, sourcing consultants, advisors and providers involved or interested in outsourcing and who share a common goal of enhancing the outsourcing profession.

Executive Committee
Senior executives from the Mexican business and public sector environment driving the outsourcing momentum in the IT Market in Mexico.

Meetings will be face-to-face in an office/meeting room setting.

Industry leaders, thought leaders and subject matter experts.
