| IAOP Chapters: France (Paris) The France (Paris) Chapter is launching! We are pleased to announce the launch of the IAOP France (Paris) Chapter chaired by Jean-Claude De Vera of BIPORIS. The inaugural meeting is planned for early 2009 with location and program details announced soon. The Chapter’s theme will be “Business Transformation through Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing.” Their programs will address end to end transformation issues from the decision making stage through to the implementation and/or operational stage in the Finance & Economics, Human Resources, IS/IT, Real Estate & Facilities and Legal & Tax industries. Guest speakers will share best practices and focus on the following processes: record to report, order to cash, purchase to pay and hire to retire. It is the intention of the chapter to have an executive committee comprised of individuals from the energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, aeronautics, transport, electronics and telecommunications industries that have extensive exposure to international transformations using SSC/BPO before the end of 2009. Join us in welcoming our newest European Chapter and stay tuned for more details about the inaugural meeting!
