Interest High for IAOP Outsourcing Professionals Hall of Fame Honor

Nominations will be accepted until Nov.15, 2008


POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y., Nov.11, 2008 – With the nomination deadline nearing, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals™ (IAOP™) today announced high interest in its Outsourcing Hall of Fame program.


“As outsourcing continues to grow and mature as a profession, so does the quality level and numbers of outsourcing leaders deserving of this honor,” said Atul Vashistha, CEO of neoIT, chairman of IAOP’s Advocacy & Outreach Committee.  


The Hall of Fame recognizes providers, customers and advisors who have made a difference to business and society through outsourcing. Nominations can be submitted online until Nov. 15.


Honorees will be selected by the committee and inducted by Vashistha at the association’s annual conference, The 2009 Outsourcing World Summit® on Feb. 17, at La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California.


Prior year inductees include:

Ř Dennis McGuire, founder and chairman emeritus, TPI – 2008

Ř N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder, chairman of the board and chief mentor, Infosys – 2008

Ř Nandan M. Nilekani, co-founder and co-chairman of the board, Infosys –2008

Ř Ralph J. Szygenda, group vice president and chief information officer, General Motors – 2008

Ř Kevin Campbell, group chief executive – outsourcing, Accenture – 2007

Ř Ron L. Kifer, group vice president and CIO, Applied Materials – 2007

Ř Filippo Passerini, global services officer and CIO, Procter & Gamble – 2006
